Happy Christmas Eve!
Sirius, Remus - you're coming over tonight, right? It's Christmas Eve, and we've got a tree and everything.
We're home. The Ministry kept us for a day and we had to go to St. Mungo's and stuff, but we're back now and it's so bloody good to see Dad and know he's okay and see everyone else, too.
I don't really want to I read what everyone wrote in the journals and stuff, and it's really nice that you were so worried. We're okay now though. Thank you loads.

Charlie! Are you better now?
Are we supposed to get our Defence exams back tomorrow? We are, right?
Oh! And I still need to know what friends and family want for Christmas! Only a few people have really told me, and I'm going shopping Saturday, so I need to know, people! Very important, this. I feel rotten not getting people things, so unless you want me to feel rotten, tell me what you want!
One more day, then home on Friday. Anyone else excited? I'm excited! At least they're actually letting us out. Maybe they won't let us come back. That'd be brilliant, wouldn't it? At least for a little while. Then it'd get boring, and having to be homeschooled - ugh.

One more bleedin' week before the hols. I don't think I'm going to make it. We do get to leave, right? We won't still be on lockdown? 'Cause that's cruel and unusual, y'know, making us miss Christmas just because some disgusting Death Eater's on the loose. There are loads of disgusting Death Eaters on the loose. One shouldn't make that big a difference.
Has anyone else finished the Transfiguration essay yet? And Potions is kicking my arse again. It's completely impractical. I don't get why it's a requirement for being an Auror anyhow. What, do they stop in the middle of a battle and brew up some Polyjuice Potion before getting back to fighting?
Oh, and no Quidditch practise this next week, unless you lot really want to. We'll double up on practises in January to make up for none in December.
Mum, Dad? Can I get a tattoo for Christmas?
Oh, and speaking of Christmas, what does everyone want?

My family is mad. Absolutely bonkers. Crazy as loons. Every single one of them, on my mum's side. My dad's side is the sane one, y'know.
It's like a hierarchy. The crazier you are, the more pure your blood, or something.
